Over the last couple of weeks, AVG has been killing my machine whenever it runs a scan, using almost 100% CPU and Disk I/O. Anyone else experiencing this or know what the issue is? I can't even open the AVG app!

I have the same problem, I cant open the AVG app and I cannot open Microsoft Office either. should I reload it or is there something preventing me.
