AVG Knocking Out Internet & IP

Hello Ben,
Sorry to hear that. Please follow below steps and check if it works:
Open AVG  -> Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> Change the network profiles from Public to Private and click OK to save changes.
Then Open AVG again -> Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize ->Profiles->System Rules->Enable the 'Allow windows file and printer sharing' and also enable the 'Allow remote desktop connections to this computer'. Then click OK to save changes.
Thank you.

So, I've had AVG for a while now, never had any problems with it until I subscribed and started paying for the full services; everything was okay at first but in the last month, my PC stopped connecting to the internet and wifi. After hours of trying to figure out what it could be and calls to my internet provider, the cause seems to be my AVG Protection.

I know this because the moment I turn it off, everything connects again. Why is it doing this?!

When AVG is on and internet isn't working, I troubleshoot it and it comes back stating both my Ethernet and Wifi "does not have a valid IP configuration"…

Why cant I seem to find a fix?

I've now stopped mt subscription and will now usually turn AVG off and use other AntiVirus software.

Any help is useful!
