1. Simultaneously press the Win and R keys on your keyboard to run the Windows Services console, then type services.msc and click OK.
2. In the Services console, locate and right-click AVG AntiVirus and select Properties.
3. In the General tab, click the drop-down menu next to Startup type and ensure Automatic is selected. Then click Apply to confirm the changes.
4. If the service stops running, click Start in the Service status section.
5. Then, locate and right-click Remote Desktop Services and select Properties.
6. In the General tab, click the drop-down menu next to Startup type and ensure Automatic is selected. Then click Apply to confirm the changes. Click Start if the service is not running.
Restart your PC and try to open AVG Internet Security. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.
I did an update this morning and my AVG opens up a window stating "Loading… This shouldn't take long." It has remained stuck on this window for the whole day. I have restarted my PC multiple times and reinstalled the product multiple times, still no difference. My AVG TuneUp and AVG Secure VPN are not affected. It doesn't help that my AVG internet security seems to have disabled itself and states "You are unprotected". I'm hoping this problem can be resolved.
