Hello William. Sorry to hear that. I would request you to follow the below mentioned instructions:

1) To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the remover tool completes with its process. Please look in to the drive where you installed this remove tool and there you can find a folder named "AVG Remover". I request you to delete that folder manually.

Then to reinstall AVG Internet Security please follow the instructions mentioned in the following article: http://bit.ly/1DXPL5z .

Hello William. Does the problem with the AVG link scanner has got resolved after the reinstallation?

Balsubramanian,  followed your instructions, but to no avail.  Still have only LinkScanner.

My list of programs shows AVG 2015, but opens it as AVG LinkScanner, not AVG Internet Security 2015, which I have a license for.  Should I "repair" AVG LinkScanner to fix this?  The program file listing only has AVG 2015 and AVG Security Toolbar listed as your products.

Yesterday, my AVG user interface changed from panel with five different options (AVG Internet Security 2015) to a panel with only one out of five panels enabled, and it had a new name, (AVGLinkScanner). Many options have completely disappeared!  My license number appears to be the same.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!

William, sorry to hear that once again. Did you uninstall AVG Link scanner and re installed AVG Internet security?

Here it is one day later, May 25, 2015, and I had to "repair" my 2015 Internet Security software in order to use my wireless printer.  Always Very Gloomy software!
