On my android phone (JiaYu S3 - TF 5.1.1 v2.3) AVG is/ was installed.
Because of repeating requests to use AVG anti-theft I decided to activate the feature.
Doing so, I decided to deny access right for my location as well.
Getting up in the morning, I wanted to unlock my phone with my normal access code. Doing so didn't work out.
I rebooted, but again no access.
It looks like the device recognizes my four digit code, because it empties the pin-code field after the 4 digits. (It was set to start without giving an enter, after entering my 4 digit code.)
It lookes like a link with a startup script has disappeared.
Because nothing worked I decided to flash the memory by going back to another version from the OS. I used TF http://www.needrom.com/download/rom-xtreme-rom-tf/ and went back to http://www.needrom.com/download/jiayu_s3_5-1-1/ by using TWRP.
But the result is the same, so no removal of the pin code screen.
So, I have got pretty much a bricked Phone.
What can I do, how AVG help me?
Is AVG going to pay for my phone now?
