Could you please confirm whether you have Service pack 1 installed in Windows 7 PC?
Because, AVG programs can be installed only from Windows 7 SP1 and higher operating system.

Hi,

I have tried to install AVG on my Windows 7 laptop and the install only goes halfway, there is no window that updates Antivirus definitions or window for scanning the computer also nothing running in my system tray to say that AVG is installed and no AVG shortcut on the desktop.  I have uninstalled with AVG Clear many times and results are the same.  I have installed AVG on my other laptops with windows 10 and it works perfectly.  Just not working on my windows 7 laptop.

Please help.
