Avg making programs in full screen lose focus.any solution?

apparently each time i have a program or game in full screen avg opens and then closes itself in the background. as a result of this the program or game either minimizes or loses focus until i click on the screen or maximize the window again. with the use of a focus log program i found out that AVGUI .exe is the source of this very frustrating issue. i had avg in silence mode far before the issue started to happen and at this point im about to just uninstall the antivirus and search for something else since it cripples my performance in my job and also in games

Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
