Complaint/Question: Today, August 15, 2021, I received this email from "Apple" (no_reply@email.apple.com):

Starting Aug 15, 2021, your subscription automatically renews for $19.99/year. To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least a day before each renewal date. 
I don't know if this is valid or phishing, so I reported it to Apple as suspicious. 

First off, Apple and (presumably) AVG have provided zero advance notice with this email, and since I cannot go back in time to 8/14/21, I cannot cancel this "subscription" charge. 
Second, when I added AVG mobile protection, AVG stated that it was free of charge, as part of my larger AVG subscription.
Third, I dropped the AVG mobile service several months ago.

OK! I hope that AVG team are still reading these community posts!
