Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. This is perfectly fine as virus database updates don't have any firm schedule - they are released only when necessary.
However AVG is continuously downloading "streaming updates" which are much smaller and contains new detection, False Positive fixes etc.
This is done to optimize speed of updates and usage of the internet as streaming updates are very small and may contain just one specific update. On the other hand, the virus database updates are big, take longer to download and install and contains all previous updates including streaming ones, major fixes etc.
no updates in three days on many avg products something not right come on avg people are paying for avg I know 5 other Antivirus had many updates in the last 3 days come avg sort yourself out
