I have quite recently installed AVG Password protection. It reports 11 "breached accounts" but they all relate to one and same account, and (unless I misunderstood something) I want them all to go away when I fix it one time. However, it seems like there is no way to acknowledge the report and manually say "this is taken care of now" after changing the password 1 time.
Do I really need to go through this again 10 more times?
Here's a screenshot of it if you don't know what it looks like. I have edited so the name of supposedly breached account does not show, but it is 11 times the same account.
Thomas,
I apologize for the delay.
Unfortunately, there are no other options to edit it.
I've sent you an email with further instructions to send us the diagnostics from your computer so that we can escalate the case to our Senior Team to analyze the AVG logs and provide you with a resolution for the issue. Please check your mailbox once.
Thomas,
Thank you for providing the screenshot. It's possible that you have a duplicate record for one site. I would suggest you to check his account list for duplicates. If there aren't any then update the password once, restart computer and check the results.
Avinash, thank you for your reply.
If there are duplicate accounts - I would think it is not one but 10 since I get 11 warnings from the same site. Can I access my account list somewhere to edit it? (only option available I can see is visit site to change password, ie the application has decided the account list and I cannot change it?
