AVG Performance Pro corrupted

Hello Paul,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. To know more about the issue caused to you, please have a look at the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disk-scan-stops-at-27-after-using-AVG-PC-TuneUp . Please go ahead and install AVG Performance on your other devices and run the Disk doctor scan manually from "All functions" to avoid such situations. Thank you.

Yesterday I upgraded to Performance Pro so that I could include the program on two laptops as well as already having it on my desktop.
Installed it on one laptop and started to use it.
Program wanted to scan and repair 'C' drive which required a computer restart. Scan quickly got to 10% complete - then stayed that way for over two hours.
Called for support.
Vinroth was very helpful and after an hour of him taking control of my laptop, it was finally back to normal (I think!!)
Should I chance using this program again? Should I chance putting it on my other equipment or should I just delete it and ask for a refund as I really don't want a repeat experience.
Anyone else had anything similar and what was the outcome?
Thanks,
Paul
