Once the fix is rolled out, you will get a notification and the AVG app will be updated automatically. After updating AVG app, restart your device and check for the status.

This afternoon, after scanning my phone, AVG said I needed to update my virus definitions. I already did this for my computer and that went fine, so I clicked on resolve, but no matter what I do, it won't update the one on my phone.
It keeps telling me "You have 1 unresolved issue," and that my "Virus definitions outdated." When I hit resolve, it tells me that it's updating, but it won't change. It says that my definitions are already updated, but with 180521-06 (Dec 31,2013).
I have already tried resetting the configuration of the app to defaults by doing Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Management -> AVG Antivirus app-> Clear cache and clear data -> Force stop the app -> Restarting the device. This didn't work for me. If anyone else has a solution to this problem, that would be great.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, but no luck either. My phone is a Samsung android and this is my first time experiencing this problem.
