Hi, I am new to AVG and have activated the free version of AVG Protection Pro and set passcode protection on most things (paranoid as coming from being an iOS user for 9 years!) which I really like.
I have a passcode set on all sensitive apps, even the Settings app as this makes me feel secure.
BUT!
I can't set a passcode on AVG Protection itself…so if anyone go into my phone they can open AVG and remove all the protection?
This seems a big weakness!
Can someone advise please as I feel I should be able to lock AVG down too?

I assume that it is an Android phone that you are using AVG on. I would like to inform you that you can set a password to launch AVG app. This feature is available with latest 6.5.2 version of AVG app. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of AVG app to set a password.

OK thanks, I am using the version on my new phone it says it is version 5.8.1.213638.
I have just found the pin protection on apps is intermittent in that I found I could get into email and settings without protection. When I closed the app on a third attempt I then get the passcode prompt.
Q1: If I upgrade to Pro will I get the latest 6.5.2 version?
Q2: Is this intermittent issue a bug or fixed in latest version?
