AVG protection installed a month ago. Had to use windows restore. When that was finished, I got an error message that this product is defective and must be reinstalled. Tried reinstalling several times and after entering my code it tells me that it is already installed and I cannot progress any further. Tried uninstalling using Windows control panel/ features. Works like it is doing something but then stops. Program is still there but totally inactive. Tried reinstallling and it tells me that it is already installed. Where do I go from here?
