On one of my computers the AVG warning area came up from the bottom right hand corner of the screen saying my data is for sale. It only stayed for a short time and disappeared.
Q1 How can I get it back?
It has also been reported on the web that AVG has announced a new privacy policy which involves collecting our personal data
Q2 is it AVG that has sold it?
We understand your concern, John. As we're uncertain about the exact pop up, we've requested the screenshot of it. If the pop up doesn't stay long on your screen, please try taking a snapshot of it using your mobile/camera & share it with us (if possible).
It only appeared briefly and so was difficult to do a screen shot.
It was headed "Your Data is for Sale" but it had gone before we could read the rest of it.
Surely you must know what pop ups there are in the software?
It was in the AVG colours and so I don't think it was a scam
