Hello Kishore, I have the same problem as described by Atwal. Perhaps you could make the info about how to deal with this issue publicly available?
I am VERY close to uninstalling AVG. I just updated AVG about yesterday, but didnt really use my computer much until today. So, I'm just minding my buisness and a AVG security threat alert pops up. It says that it's detected a virus. It says that the launcher for some game is a virus. It said the threat type is a "Trojan horse Generic36.COPT". I know it's safe because it's from Steam (an online game distribution platform) and I last played it about a week ago. Because of that, I hit ignore. Several more notifications for THE SAME FILE pop up over the next 5 minuts or so. Eventually, I thought maybe if I let it delete it, then restore the file it would leave me alone. I do that. I decide I might as well play the game (I did just spend awhile stopping AVG from deleting it's launcher), and when I try to launch it, it says it failed to start for an unknown reason. It worked a week ago, so it's not a incompatability between my computer and the program. I also haven't made any modifications or installed any updates to the game in the last week. Also, every time I try to launch it AVG pops up and says it's a threat, making it seem as if AVG is blocking it. Afterward, it still was bugging me about how the SAME FILE is a virus. I tried googling a way to make AVG ignore this file but came up with nothing. I also tried looking at the AVG Support(I didn't try live support, as I didn't have time), but still nothing.
Long story short: AVG is continually requesting for me to delete a single file that I know isn't a virus there is no way that I can find, both on the AVG Support and other sites on the internet, to make AVG ignore this file.

Hi Edvin,
Could you please send me screenshot of the pop-up for further look? Is the same file in same location detected?
Thanks
