ERROR: Because you’ve upgraded to Windows 8, AVG now needs reinstalling to function properly.
Setup error:  Service AVG Firewall (avgfws) could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop service. Error code: 0xC0070643 MSI Engine failed to install the product. Error 1921
 
I understand that I need the AVG Reset Acces Tool to repair this error. How can I get hold of this product?

Hello Elize. Thank you for trying it out and I appreciate your efforts. I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install.
