First, please refer to this article and check whether you've put the Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office Suite to sleep using AVG TuneUp.
If you did, please awaken them, restart your computer once and check if the issue persists.
Second, could you elaborate how you came to the conclusion that your AVG Internet Security has slowed down your browsing speed?
Do you have any other antivirus software installed in your computer other than AVG Internet Security?
Are you facing the issue while trying to access a particular website or with all websites?

The AVG Internet protection seems to slow down everything I try to do on the internet. Pages take several minutes to reach or load. Also, after running AVG Tuneup I have been unable to open Outlook email.
Any suggestions outside of cancelling my AVG subscriptions?
