My problem is I can not open google chrome settings as this trys to open in a new window and cant, so how do I get the google settings open to change anything.
I can not open the internet at all.

I have the same problem. I have followed the above instruction.  When I reboot my computer in safe mode my Google Chrome does not open so I cannot remove the AVG Safe Price extension.  AVG, your assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Sylvia,
I understand your concern and I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue. In-order to fix the issue please open the google chrome and go to settings->extensions->then remove the safe price extension. After this the extension will be removed. If you still face any issues after the process, feel free to contact us.

Remove the AVG Safe Price extension using the following instructions : Open Chrome -> At the top right, click More (:slight_smile: -> Click Settings -> More tools -> Extensions -> Remove AVG Safe price
Reset your Chrome using the following instructions : Open Chrome -> At the top right, click More (:slight_smile: -> Click Settings -> Scroll down and click "Show advanced settings" -> Reset Chrome
Restart your computer in normal mode. This would fix the issue.
