I have just found out that my pc is infected by sality virus so I downloaded this sality fix tool and it enables a boot scan. But it's taking so long to scan just a single file and automatically shut down the pc sometime.
It would start scanning everytime I reboot the pc(even when I try to boot into safe mode)
Is there anyway to disable the boot scan? Please help
nope I tried some key pressing but it would not skip or bypass the scan also I can't even boot into windows right now so there's nothing else I can really do
p.s I dont have AVG antivirus software installed I only used the sality fix tool

I request you to boot the PC in safe mode again and in the run command open MSCONFIG >> Boot Tab
And check for AVG sality fix tool.
If present, select it and remove or delete it from the list.
If not, kindly share us the screenshot of the boot tab.
