did you read my post at all??? a: I have the latest update, b: I have tried all the fixes suggested by avg staff- they don't work, b: even a maual scan does not register -latest scan still shows never, and c: the scheduler doesn't work at all, the values I input for day, time are gone when I leave the page. I know it scans manually, just doesn't register in the last scan field. However the definition update schedule and record of date done does work…

This shouldn't happen with the latest version of AVG.
The "last scan message" will update only when the scan is performed by clicking on "Scan Computer" button from the program interface.
It will not get updated for other scans like Deep or Schedule.
Perform repair of AVG Antivirus/Internet Security as mentioned (here) and setup the schedule scan.
Keep us informed about the status.

I have followed the thread regarding scheduled scans up to April 4 2018 and have to agree that this is an issue that avg tech seems to be in denial of. I have had this problem for sometime and have followed all the suggested fixes to no avail. My scheduled scan does not work in its entirety , no matter what scan I do, manual, auto it doesn't matter , the times and days I enter and say ok are immediately grey again when I check back to that window, the last scan status is always never and the report good or bag does not show up in the gear. Is AVG even interested in fixing this or reconsidering returning to the format before the , I think awful, interface introduced a year or two ago. After many years of subscribing to paid internet security and pc tune up I, considering a move to some other security product.

Karthi keyan I used avgclick me and selected screenshots and used the email icon to send them to you, but I recieved the no reply message that states not able to identify email properly what can I do ? Do you have an email direct to you that I can send it too.
