We can clarify this for you.
We would like to know whether you have tested this command line?
Please let us know where you exactly saw this command line for AVG Secure browser?

The switches are listed in the windows shortcut properties for AVG Secure Browser.  As far as testing is concernd they are used every time I use the browser but I have no idea what they do.
I can start the browser without the switches using the icon within the Windows Program Files folder for AVG but I do not see any difference.
Any help  would be appreciated.

These are the command line switches for the AVG browser --check-run=src=startmenu.
Are they necessary and what do they do?

The switches are as I have listed them "–check-run=src=startmenu".  What would a screen shot tell you?   I know what switches like  "–restore-last-session --disable-extensions --disable-notifications --start-maximized" do, I just don't know what the switches I am asking about do.
