This is a known bug that is being solved by our developers. It has P1 (high) priority so it should be fixed soon. Please note that your device is FULLY protected even without Secure search component. If you wish to use it, we kindly request you to please try to install AVG Secure search in Google Chrome by making it as your default Browser.

Alan I was using AVG Secure Search.exe

I have been trying to install AVG secure search. I have a windows 10 machine (upgraded during the free period). I use Firefox as my default browser. I get an error that basically says an unknown error is preventing the successful installation. I have restarted my browser and machine several times, but no avail.

Gulam, I just opened Chrome and I already have AVG Secure Search set there.
