Please open the control panel & check if you can locate AVG Secure VPN under the 'Programs and Features'.
Also, check if you can access the AVG Secure VPN from the Windows Search bar.

I've had AVG vpn for awhile, I just noticed the icon was missing from my desktop.  I did not uninstall it.  Is it possible that it was uninstalled automatically if my subscription ran out?
