I have used AVG VPN very happily with no problems for a number of months. However, over the past 3 weeks AVG VPN is constantly disconnecting (the kill switch is blocking the internet) when I am using it to download torrents. I use AVG Internet Security Anti virus if that information is helpful.
As I said, the problem started about 3 weeks ago. I tried to use the usual server in Singapore, however, Qbittorrent appeared to show that there were no seeds or leechs - a situation that I knew was incorrect. That was proved when AVG VPN disconnected, the torrents quickly downloaded.
I read the AVG community on the topic which recommended that I should probably change the server. I have changed AVG VPN server location and used the server that AVG said is optimised for torrenting. The torrent now does download - but it disconnects (the kill switch blocks the download) literally every 2 - 5 minutes making the process unworkable.
Is anyone else experiencing these type of issues and can anyone provide any helpful advice to make it work properly again?
