AVG somehow got turned off - can't turn it back on

On the note of the new version not being installed, this error code appears: 0xc0070643

AVG has somehow got turned off (or at least action centre is telling me this) and won't turn back on despite me clicking it. It also won't open when I click the icons. Do you think that this could be a virus from the internet? 

P.s. for some reason I also cannot download the latest version (2016) called AVG Zen from the internet…

This is highly frustrating, I'd appreciate some help :slight_smile:
