AVG started blocking my emails on Outlook

May I know exactly what happens when you sent the email in Outlook and also let us know, how do you confirm that AVG blocking it?
Do you get any error messages? If yes, please share the screenshot of the error message.
Please temporarily disable the Email shield in the AVG Internet Security and check whether you're able to send email in Outlook. 
If you're still unable to sent the email, then turn off the AVG Secure VPN and check the status.
Also, please let us know the version of AVG Internet Security.
To check that, open AVG Internet Security > Menu > About.
Keep us posted.

Hi, we have the same problem as Ondra Marek. I think it started on 12.8.2022. Is there just any solution? All company had to turn off email shield. I have AVG internet security. 22.7.3245 (22.7.7403.742)

Same problem in 2024 and its still not fixed???

Hi … same problem.  AVG suddenly started blocking all outgoing SMTP traffic from Outlook 365 under Windows 10, yesterday.

It is definitely Email Shield.  If I deselect "Scan outbound emails (SMTP)", then mail flows.  Select it and they stop. 

My question is, how do I let Outlook send emails, and still allow AVG to scan outgoing SMTP traffic?

I have spent the afternoon with Windstream, then expert advice and finally microsoft. AVG is blocking my emails. Microsoft said you need to check it on your end. I have ACG off now.

I'm having the same issue. It is definitely Email Shield. For me, I tracked  it down to the 'scan incoming mail' option. Turn it off and IMAP works. Turn it on and IMAP is blocked. Sadly, turning it off rather defeats the purpose of the feature.
And this is a very new issue.
