From time to time AVG starts up during a boot or reboot and stops the PC from completing the boot or reboot.
From my observations it seems that the anti-virus software does this when it starts an update right in the middle of a bootup or reboot.
A: Why
B: How can I stop this from happening.
It seems to only have become a problem recently as it didn't happen a year or so ago. Now it happens all too often. In addition it slows everything down for sometime AND the screen goes blank giving no indication as to what is going on.
Anyone have any ideas?
