is it AVG AntiVirus free or AVG Internet Security trial that you tried to install? Do you see the AVG desktop icon?
It looks like AVG Secure Browser got installed along which was not completed. Please open the list of installed programs on your PC and check which AVG products are listed.
I tried downloading AVG because I have a suspicion that I have a virus. The installation got stuck at 99%. So the program is unusable and I cant reinstall it either. Every time I start-up my computer I get an error notification from it saying :"avg browser update.exe entry point not found".
I tried online help but it didn't work.
So now I have an broken AVG and still a virus in my computer.
