AVG subscription issue

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice or help regarding an AVG subscription issue.

I purchased AVG Internet Security in 2021 using a credit card. Over time, I forgot about the subscription and didn’t actively monitor it. In September 2025, that credit card expired and was replaced with a new one. I never updated my payment details in my AVG account.

However, in November, my new credit card was charged for a subscription renewal. I did not authorize this renewal and did not receive any renewal notification email, even though AVG’s FAQ says customers should be notified before renewal.

The main issue is that I cannot manage or cancel the subscription. It does not appear on my AVG account website and only shows up in the AVG application on my laptop. Every time I try to manage it, I’m redirected to the AVG website, where no subscription details or cancellation options are available.

I’ve already contacted AVG through their Contact Us page but have not received any response.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any advice on how to cancel the subscription, contact AVG support effectively, or request a refund would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
