Just noticed Tuesday I think it was, my computer all of a sudden experienced a severe slowdown. When I brought up the task manager, to my surprise it was an AVG item that is being a big memory hog. How do I fix this please??? It slows my apps and slows whatever browser I try! I have Internet Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. I took a screenshot, but when I went to the site I used years ago for picture hosting, I found its no longer free. "AVG Service" is using 425.4MB of memory, 74% under memory tab. Everything is is miniscule amounts compared to it.
I did the repair from the AVG interface, also did the uninstall repair, and I uninstalled an app I wasn't using. Restarted several times. Some combination of things worked and my computer is back to working normally!
