I bought myself a new laptop for Christmas, a Dell XPS 9530.
Straight away I updated from Windows 8.1 to 10.
Then before anything else, let's get this thing protected.
Download newest version of AVG and the window is TINY.
Now I can only see three quarters of what I imagine I should be able to see, in a tiny window which can't be changed in size.
A bit of research led to suggested DPI scaling issues?
I tried various resolutions, various display zoom %'s, disable automatic scaling in the app properties… no effect.
Is this a problem with the high resolution of the screen?
Am I going to be haunted forever for wanting the best image haha?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Ian
I assure you, anything less than 200% is unusable, as it's simply too small. It appears that, while most of the AVG interfaces are fine, some of them are permanently fixed at 100%, despite my setting being at 250%.

My screen resolution is currently: 3840 x 2160 (recommended computer settings)
I have varied at many different levels down to 1024 x 768
The AVG window (and everything else on my computer) is much larger.
However I am seeing less and less of the interface. as the resolution decreases and the interface gets bigger.
Thanks
Ian
Hello, it would appear that you're referencing an older build of Windows 10, as the latest version doesn't have the menu choices to which you refer. Playing with the display settings will take you here:

Hello, I just bought a Microsoft Surface Book (screen resolution 3000 x 2000), and I have the same problem that Ian Barrar has been having. I think your application is not properly adapted for high DPI displays. Is there a fix for this?
Thank you for checking that, Ian.
Now is AVG, okay with these settings?
