I get messages to update my AVG Tune Up but every time I try, it fails to make the connection. I have turned off the firewall, I have nominated AVG as an allowed safe contact from the Internet, I have checked my internet connection and it does not fail on any other sites or updates. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the Tune Up and can this be done? Thanks.

I still cannot do the update. I use Google which does not have the data referred to in the answer given and even though I then made Explorer,(which is in my system already), my default browser using the relevant file I just downloaded from the Microsoft site, I cannot get Explorer to actually come up as my browser so I cannot use the data in the answer to fix my problem. Google comes up continually.
Thanks.
