Hello Marijke,

I understand your concern. This issue might have happened because the Internet Explorer must be put to sleep mode from AVG PC TuneUp. If you have had simply ignored this application from sleep mode must have fixed this issue.

I installed AVG tune up & ran all the options. Now for some reason I cannot get the internet explorer running. So I removed the AVG tune up again and now IE is magically working again. Pitty because I liked the clean up, prgram sleaping modus, … everything suggested by AVG tune up.
Is there a way to fix this?

other applications put to sleep give a message, internet explorer just doesn't do anything and won't open at all - not even after 6 trials and rebooting the pc …
