Hmmm, thanks. I've undone all changes via the backup centre so I can now load my office files. I have no idea what changes I've undone, just when they were made. Item 2 resolved.
The article does not contain any information relevant to item 1 or 3, so I still have a non working product. Do you have any further articles or information to enlighten me?

- When I load AVG I am presented with 4 icons (protection, performance, privacy & identity, support). Clicking the performance icon no longer loads the program
2) When I try to load MS Office files by clicking on their icon, the file will not load and I get a message "not enough quota is available to process this command" via filepath to AVG PC TuneUp\ProgramDeactivator.exe
3) I tried following steps on support page to repair AVG, but on my machine there is no repair option: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG&l=en_US

The nuclear option?
I was hoping to avoid uninstall + reinstall. Fixing the problem would give me more confidence in the software and (I hoped) take less of my time.
Ah well. Uninstall here we go.
