This is driving me up the wall. I recently purchased a year of AVG TuneUp. I installed the software and activated it no problem. After a few days, the software starting behaving like it was a trial and not activated. If I dismiss all messages and choose to activate from the menu, my key is accepted every time and the software goes back to normal. Wtf is going on? Why won't it stay activated?

Thanks Akash. Why do I need a refund from the seller? A product key was provided and seems to be valid. What argument am I supposed to present to them?

Thanks, but that's not my question. My question is why should I feel entitled to a license number over a product key? The AVG TuneUp app accepts a product key does it not? And during installation I can submit a product key can I not? So what grounds do I have with a reseller to ask for a refund when a working product key has been provided to me?

As we have already informed you that the Product key is invalid as a Product Key ( also known License Number) will start with TM. In your case the Product key is Invalid. So we request you to check with your Reseller.

Thanks for the response Aravindh. I received your email, and I'll respond here if you don't mind in case someone else stumbles upon this question with the same issue. I bought my key from a reseller. I'm not sure what I can complain to them about though, as the key was accepted by AVG TuneUp during installation and has always reactivated the program successfully. I feel like they'll tell me that it looks like an AVG issue and to contact you guys. Regards, Bryn.
