Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Are you trying to download the Trial version of AVG PC TuneUp?
May I know what is the exact error message that you get when you try to install the AVG PC TuneUp?

Hi, I'm trying to download the Free version of Tuneup but it seems to be hanging up and I can't see how to cancel it to start again

Hi, I’m not actually getting an error message; it just starts the download and then seems to hangup. It’s still sat there doing nothing and I can’t work out how to cancel it so that I can try again.

Please be informed that you can cancel the installation by clicking on the X button on the right top corner. If you are facing any further issues please try to restart your PC and run the installation file again and check whether it resolves the issue.
