I saw that article on the AVG Website and implemented it. The process did allow successful completion of 1-Click Update while that function was disabled. But, when reactivated “Clean-up Browser” the error returns.
I do not understand this portion of the instructions: “Once your AVG PC TuneUp updates, you will be able to enable this option again, and full functionality will be restored.”. What does “Once your AVG PC TuneUp updates,” mean? How update? I have not uninstalled / reinstalled. Should do?

I'm experiencing the same problem.
Steve - see my post of a few minutes ago… they will send out the update which they are now working on… we will be notified by email when it is ready.

I just wasted my time uninstalling and reinstalling this program and still I'm experiencing this same problem. I keep getting the error message "Following AVG processes failed: -oneclick.exe. The link above wasn't helpful either.
We are unable to understand why we are been repeatedly asked about Password Query and Password to start AVG PC TuneUp ? We have not been provided any such password or we have saved such password. Earlier there were no problems, Its automatically start Maintaining Cleaning etc. Hope AVG Guru may understand our problems. Even we are not allowed to put counter question on your email reply. How can we interact with U directly, without losing time ?
Latest update for tuneup is being released hopefully should fix the issues…
I've had the same problem for weeks.Its been impossible to find a contact person. very frustrated. very disappointed. I worked out to skip the ''clean up browser"" option…but i purchased a complete package, not part of one. I am delighted that its not just me though. i thought old age had finally caught up with me! thanks.
myself as well is having the same problems … just been in there helpline for half a hour and no one would pick up the phone … NOT HAPPY at all … Not sure what to do … Some one PLEASE help A.S.A.P .
Since I have renewed the "TuneUp " license before end of Jan., I have never got it work properly , and kept telling me the process failure. Then kept feeding report for analysis. I have tried to ring up the support center, the feedback that there was a problem and the technician was trying to fix it and take a few days time. so far a week passed, I still get the same problem. I have tried to uninstall and install it many times to see any good, but no improvement, I don’t get any response from AVG support to tell what and how to fix it .I need AVG feedback ASAP

How do you opt out of the clean up browser section to by pass this error
