If Microsort Edge selected in AVG Tuneup Sleeplist, user will get this notification when they try to access any website in Edge or if the user click on Edge icon.
Can you please confirm which browser have you set as Default browser? If Edge is your default browser, you might receive this notification whenever you try to open the links.

Several times over the past two-three days I've gotten a AVG Tuneup popup that informs me Microsoft Edge has activated and will be put back to sleep when I close it.
Only problem is I don't use Microsoft Edge. I've checked Task Manager every time I've gotten the message and Task Manager does NOT show Microsoft Edge as running.
Don't know if it's a false positive or a bug with AVG. Gotta tell you I don't have as much faith in Tuneup as I used to.

Sometimes, this might happen if any extension or site attempts to connect to internet via Edge in background.
In this regard, if you prefer, you can wake MS Edge from sleeplist & ignore it (in the samge page, at top).

Microsoft Edge IS selected in Sleeplist. Default browser is Firefox.
