I understand the inconvenience.
I see that you have purchased AVG Ultimate (1 year subscription) and it expires on 3rd August 2018.
Open the AVG user interface by double clicking on "AVG" desktop icon. Click on "Email address" displayed on the interface and select "Leave this network" and click on "Connect".
Select "Log into existing account" to enter AVG my account username and password.
Wait for 2-3 minutes to check whether it activates TuneUp product.
If the user interface does not have the email address displayed then click on "Connect" and follow the steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-Zen-Protection-Performance-or-Ultimate .

I renewed my license for the AVG Ultimate yet I continue to get pop ups or the app tells me it's expired. Please help as I know (and have proof) that I paid the $50+ renewal online.
I like having the online techs who can chat & remote in to my pc but I don't remember how to do that or where that option is anymore but that is a great help to have for such a time as this.
