AVG Update causes problems reaching DNS server

Yes.  I couldn't access the internet and through troubleshooting determined that there was a problem querying the DNS server, as described.  I attached the requested screenshot (AVG now disabled so that I can use the internet to resspond here).

I am experiencing a similar issue.  My computer shows an active internet connection, but sporadically fails to connect to web sites and Outlook server.  The errors state that there is a DNS error and that I am not connected to the internet, even though I can see an active connection below.

I uninstalled AVG today because the AVG Service was consuming 70% - 90% of my CPU.
Karin, sorry, but we don't speak German. Please visit https://support.avg.com/ and select the support option as Email. As the support for German is provided only via email or respond back in English.

I applied an AVG update at the beginning of November. After that it happened again and again that the Internet became very slow and mostly at the beginning of a session a DNS error was reported.
I have a purchased AVG Ultimate version and have already reinstalled twice. It does not work anymore. Now I can not use the AVG anymore.
What can I do?

I applied an AVG update today (probably overdue - this is a computer that is infrequently used), and after that I couldn't reach the DNS server.  ipconfig confirmed all network settings were correct and unchanged (including DNS settings).  nslookup confirmed computer was unable to query the DNS server and unable to ping google.com or common websites.  Disabling all Windows Defender firewalls did not resolve it.  Disabling AVG resolved the issue. Re-enabled all Windows Defender firewalls and computer still able to reach DNS server.  AVG update has interfered with reaching DNS server.

Currently running this computer with AVG disabled but would like the issue to be resolved so that I can use antivirus protection.

Yes.  I had been receiving this DNS errors within 10 to 15 minutes after rebooting.  After removing AVG, I have been active for a few hours without issue.
