Hello Stefan,
We do understand your concern. However, please check the event log the time of the automatic updates, the time should be before the period you turned off the internet in that computer. AVG should have updated automaitcally, before you turned the internet off of this computer.
Thank you
Hello all,
I seem to have the opposite problem from a lot of you. I have a number of computers running AVG Ultimate, latest version.
Now, my problem is that it seems I cannot trust the Event Log: I, at the moment, have Internet connectivety turned off for these specific computers (MAC-addresses) yet the event log claims "Update has been successful" on them.
The circles are still red in ZEN, claiming the program needs to update, but as I said if I go into Reports or Event Log in AVG it happily informs me that the system was successfully updated during a time when I had turned off Internet for the machines.
If I do a manual update it says it cannnot find the servers and the update fails, so that is good. But why does the automatic update insist that it managed to update?
Hello Stefan,
To assist you better, could you please send us the screenshot( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the event log? So that we can check the same and assist you better.
Thank you
