I tried it but didn't find the Video Downloader Extension.

I have been able to go to youtube and easily download videos either as audio or video but now it isn't working. When I click on the video downloader icon in the toolbar, it says "there are no videos to download on this page". I've tried uninstalling AVG secure browser and reinstalling it but nothing has changed. Please help

YouTube has recently changed their site streaming settings, and the video downloader feature is not working.
We are currently aware of the issue. Our developers are diligently working on it and will be fixed as soon as possible.
However, you can still download it from the other sites.

video downloader no longer works even though shows in tab upper right. gives no error message and there is no lower bar where usually shows downloaded video or failure of. tried testing by using same video which did download successful last week, but now does not. usually if youtube no longer allows or supports download, it will not show the downloader tab (green) tried an uninstal and reinstal, did not work, tried reset of default settings, did not work. aanyone have an idea? Version check says is up to date. get no answer from support. extensions settings show download is ON. all security settings are on. have not made any changes to program or settings since last time it worked.

The AVG Secure Browser - Video downloader feature has been temporarily removed and it will be added as soon as possible.
In this period, please try the below steps and check if it helps,
Please open the installed extension and reinstall the Video Downloader.
1. Open AVG Secure Browser > go to Menu (3 dots icon in the top right corner) > More tools > Extensions.
2. Enable Developer mode.
3. Re-enable Video Downloader
