AVG VPN causes everything to hang

This copy and paste cookie cutter reply is offensive too. Its the same one you give everyone. You didnt even read my post. Its not just slowing down for a little bit, it sits there dead for 30 seconds to a minute and this is web browsing AND programs and apps as well. I have to shut off avg vpn to even use my computer, its stupid, and I'm paying for this? Only reason its secure is because you cant surf the net.

Randy, thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the delayed response.
I'd received an update from our senior team and would be better to assist if you could help us with some information:
- Try connecting AVG Secure VPN to servers which are P2P friendly and check the status
- Does the issue occur only with specific apps (Steam and Nvidia) or with all apps/surf the net?
- Did you check the configured firewall settings?
Awaiting your reply!

Hello Randy.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. You may sometimes experience a slower internet connection when using Secure VPN. This is because VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection.
Appreciate your understanding.

AVG VPN is garbage, with it on takes 30 seconds to a minute for a page to load. If I turn it off takes 1 second. I've tried all the excuses and "fixes" but honestly for a subscription service its terrible. It even locks apps up like Steam, my Nvidia settings app, anything. It makes these programs take over a minute to start up, I have a great system and have repaired computers for a living so I am not computer stupid. Please fix this issue and stop giving all these poor people the run around.
