AVG VPN end of free period not recognising paid version

I also am having the same problem. Please advice on what to do.Purchased June 4th. Trial version just ran out and it won't recognise my paid version. Keeps asking me to purchase, but I already have!!!
Uninstalled and re-installed everything but still NOT WORKING!
SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING.
Please fix.

Finally got it working today after uninstalling and reinstalling not just the VPN but AVG anti-virus as well.  Then had to download the Zen desktop and login as administrator.  To my surprise this time it actually seems to have worked with no mention of expired free trials.  Let's hope that it continues.

I have paid for AVG VPN through to May 2019 but have been unable to activate it.  For 30 days I could not get beyond the 'free trial' but now that has ended it just tells me that I need to buy a copy to continue.  But I have already bought  a license.  I have followed instructions to log on (off and on again) in the Zen console but this makes no difference as there is no way that I can activate the VPN - the fact that I have a license already is not picked up automatically as the help files suggest.  I have uninstallled from Windows 10 control panel and reinstalled but this just gets back to a screen telling me to 'Buy' - which  if I do click on just goes to a blank screen.  I need simple instructions which will allow me to make use of the VPN application that I have already paid for.  If this can't be done then I will request a refund as the product is otherwise useless to me.

I am sorry to hear that.  I would suggest you to uninstall AVG Secure VPN from the control panel and then reinstall it from AVG Zen. Please check if AVG Secure VPN is activated. If you still face any issues, please contact us.

I had some remote help from Tamil at technical support this morning but despite assurances that the application had been  'reset' and would work within a 'couple of hours' I am no further forward.  I have had the paid version since 3 June but in the time since then the AVG interface has still shown me using the trial version - until 2 days ago when it expired.  Having bought it once I am not going to follow the link and buy it a second time, which is the only option presented  to me.  This has taken up far too much time and effort and as far as I am concerned I have  paid for a product that AVG has failed to deliver.  I have requested a full refund and will go elsewhere for a different VPN that actually works.

I too am having the same problem with the VPN. I can't activate it even though I've logged in from the interface. It's been 24hrs now since I bought it on 3rd July, 2017, as I did online help with a person, well two people actually as their connection kept dropping out. They had me log out then log in again and said to wait 24hrs as it wasn't showing on their system yet.

I've paid for it (2yrs licence) with my PayPal and have had the confirmation email from AVG and from my PayPal that the payment was sent. It says there is no licence number for my VPN in I think my products in My Account, but in my Order History it shows that I have bought it.

I had the new updated AVG Security combined with AVG Tune-up for 2017 installed by remote help on same day before I bought VPN I only bought it because a pop-up came up asking me if I wanted to buy  it. . I bought both of these nearly 2yrs ago, due for renewal at end of year and the Tune-up in March 2018.
