Please let us know the version of your MAC & clarify whether you've tried restarting MAC & does this happen with a specific network or irrespective of networks.
I have installed the latest version of AVG VPN on my MacBook Air M1.
I do not generally shut down my Mac but I use to close the MacBook screen or to put it in stop.
It happens that after some time the MacBook cannot connect to internet or it is very slow
Last time I got an error message from AVG VPN which requested me to run a scan to troubleshoot.
After some time the AVG VPN scan found the error MJE8XC
Any tip?

Once you remove AVG Secure VPN from your Mac device, please restart the device. Then, please follow the below article to reinstall it.

I'm currently using a MacBook Air (M1, 2020) with macOS 12.0.1 (Monterey).
I have noticed this slowdown / interruption of internet many times and evrytime I have restarted the MacBook all was back to normal.
I have tried just with my home WiFi on both channles 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
