AVG VPN is blocking me from bringing up web pages

We'll certainly look into this. Did you try using a different web browser? Please try to connect to a different VPN server by clicking 'Change location'.

I have been using the AVG VPN for about 20 months with no problems on a win 7 / Firefox combo.
I recently changed my OS to windows 10 and now when I switch on the VPN I cannot bring up any web pages.
When i switch it off  I can access web pages no problem.
What is going on and what can i do about it?
By the way my AVG renewal comes up soon so the solution needs to be good.

I had tried two different browsers but was still blocked, however your suggestion to change the VPN server by changing the location seems at least initially to have done the trick. Thank you for your help Avinash.
