AVG VPN keeps disconnecting

Hello, 

Since yesterday my AVG VPN keeps disconnecting and stays a long time in Reconnecting state. I have tried installing and reinstalling, change locations, restarting my computer and nothing seems to work. 

I have a mac BigSur 11.6 

AVG internet security 

Nothing have changed in my network

Please clarify whether you experience this issue with a specific network or irrespective of networks. 
You can try changing the DNS settings on your MAC by following the steps mentioned below MAC in this article.

I changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 waiting to see if it works.

I'm experiencing it with every network. Both 2.4 and 5g. 
The article page is down so I let you know how it goes once It comes back online.
