AVG Secure VPN is not connecting - is showing a line saying “secureline.error”.
I have uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled and restarted. Still same error.
What to do? Please help in resolving ASAP!
I have searched in the community as well as other places in the internet, but there’s no solution for this. Is this a BUG in the AVG VPN Software???

Same for me. It simply does not connect anymore
On 12-March-2025, I contacted the customer support via a ticket and spoke to an agent on chat.
Here is the response I got:
Due to legal regulations, we regret to inform you that we are cancelling our VPN service in India starting from 01.01.2025. That means users will no longer be able to access our VPN services as long as they are within the country. AVG VPN will not work inside of India. Outside of it, it will work, so please do not worry.
On further asking, what could be the reason as other VPNs like SurfShark are working - I was told that they do not know the full extent of the reason.
But seems like the government has implemented new rules for VPN usage and AVG has decided to discontinue their VPN support for India going forward.
