AVG VPN not working since 16th May 2021

No internet connection through VPN since yesterday. Internet is fine withot the VPN.
I rolled out a Windows 10 update (KB5003173) that Microsoft installed yesterday but no improvement.
I uninstalled AVG VPN which I have been using succesfully for 2 years and reinstalled. No improvement.
Windows 10 network troubleshooter suggests its a firewall issue. I edited the firewall to allow AVG VPN, no improvement.
I am now at the end of my technical knowledge.
AVG support is currently non existent. Using the support chat function hangs.
Where is the support guys? Are you using your own firewall in which case your having a really quiet day.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue regarding AVG Secure VPN.

We suggest you to change the DNS settings of your PC and check if the issue persists.

Refer to this article to change the DNS settings of your PC.

If the issue persists, then please proceed to uninstall the program and re-install the AVG Secure VPN again and check whether its work.

For the steps, I have sent an email to your email address registered with AVG.

Did you try to access the websites on a different browser and check?
You can also try changing the AVG Secure VPN locations.

I cannot access the internet when AVG VPN is running.

That follows for Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Chrome. It doesn't matter which web address you are looking for, no connection to the DNS is possible. All websites are unavailable.
I have tried three locations, London, Paris and Chicago.

Examples:
Chrome.- google.com’s DNS address could not be found.
Firefox - Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at www.etc

When I close the VPN service the internet works correctly.and I can access all websites.
